“All grown-ups were once children...”

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

More than 10 million people, twice the population of Norway, has fled their homes in Ukraine because of the war. Half of them abroad.

One of them is Alyona Potyomkina, renowned animation filmmaker and illustrator, now opening a mini exhibition at Gallery Athene in Drammen.

In this exhibition we are invited into a magical universe focusing on children. Several short animation movies will be on display on a large monitor, as well as more than 15 limited edition prints.

All revenues will be sent directly to OHMATDYT, children hospital in Kyiv, that provides medical care for Ukrainian children, who were injured during Russian invasion.

The need for medicines and medical care is at a critical level, says Alyona. Doctors of Ohmatdyt saved my life when I was a kid, now it is time to return the favor.
